Buy a simple WordPress website

A simple WordPress website may be all you need.  I have made a demonstration website – which is a working model with all the links live – called basicwebsites.info to show exactly what you will get for your £250.

Beyond the basic website, there are many different styles – two or three columns, different colours, moving pictures and so on. When setting up the site, I will take your content – your words and pictures – and place it on the site, but after that a WordPress site is easy for you to maintain yourself. I will send you my instruction manual to show you how. You can choose to write a regular blog or not, as you prefer.

A basic site consists of 5 main pages and 2 or 3 “small print” pages. I include the SEO facility and a contact form as standard, if desired, and I will adapt my own “small print” wording for your use if you wish.

The 5 main pages are usually Home, About, Contact, Blog, and one other but feel free to have whatever you wish. You can see the other pages at the bottom of my site – terms & conditions, privacy policy and, if you have a blog, posting guidelines.

Note: I am aware that some website builders fix the site so that they are the administrator, which means you have to go back to them if you want to change anything major. I don’t do that. You will have full control of your site.
